The pilot excursion in Fort-de-France (Martinique) was executed with 20 participants,
including both young individuals and members of women’s rights organizations. The tour, lasting an hour and a half, covered five locations, each associated with a notable woman in history.
The group was highly engaged, asking many questions, which highlighted the need for
further exploration of women’s roles in Martinique’s male-cantered society.
